Dear Grandma and Grandpa,
My Mom and Dad bought a new van this month. I helped them pick it out at the LE auto centre. I traveled with my family in our new van to LaJara to attend Brandon and Chera’s wedding reception. I had fun running around and playing in my new yellow dress that my Aunt Angie made. In the middle of this month I said goodbye to my house in Lincoln and drove with my Family to Denver. My Mom dropped my Dad off and then we picked up Aunt Stephanie and drove to LaJara. On the way there one of the back tires on the van blew out so my Mom pulled over and waited for somebody to stop and help us.
When we finally made it to LaJara I got to go to the celebration in Manassa. I really liked sitting on the side of the road watching all of the floats go by and getting all of the candy. After the parade I got to watch Motorcycles race and jump. Then that night I got to watch fireworks. While I was in LaJara I also got to ride one of Grandpa’s horses with Grandpa.
My Mom and Dad left Nathan, David, and me with Grandma and Grandpa in LaJara while they went back to Lincoln and packed up all of our stuff and took it to Green River. While they were gone Grandma Kaye took us to the McGinnis family reunion.
I said two new words jump and tramp this month because I wanted to jump on Grandma’s trampoline all of the time.

Dear Grandma and Grandpa,
I traveled to Utah with Mom and Dad. We went to Joes Valley where I got to go fishing. Grandma showed me how and then I used the reel all by myself. While I was in Utah I also got to see my Grandma Kaye and Grandpa Dwight when they were on their way home from Yellowstone.
When we were back in Nebraska I went to the Blue Ribbon Fair at Pioneers Park with my family. I got to play lots of fun games and get prizes.

Dear Grandma and Grandpa,
Daddy graduated from law school this month. I got to watch him walk at graduation. Grandma Kaye, Grandpa Dwight, Uncle Jace and Aunt Mandi came out to watch him walk and visit me. My Aunt Mandi brought me a Pink Carebear.
Mom and Dad take me on a lot of walks to the park where we get to have a picnic and play. I also got to ride my tricycle a lot this month. I just sit on it and let my Mom or Dad push me around. It is fun!
My Mom bought me a princess toddler bed and Dad put it together for me. Now I have a new toddler bed that I like to sleep in. I now share a room with David and when he gets up in the morning, he also wakes me up and we usually go downstairs to Mommy and Daddy’s room. But sometimes we will stay upstairs and jump on our beds or play and wait for Mom to find us.
It was warm enough one day to get out the slip n slide and the pool. Daddy slid me on my bottom down the Slip ‘n Slide and I thought it was fun. I also thought it was fun to slide down the slide into the pool.
At playdate, one day Kaleb Burns, a little boy that is almost 2, bit me over my right eye. It made me have a black eye.
At the first of this month I was really afraid of all animals. If a squirrel came by the sliding back door I would cry and run. One day David put the fake owl in my swing and I didn’t know. So when I went to get in my swing and I saw the owl I started crying and running back o the house. But now I’m not scared when ever I see a squirrel or a bunny I growl because that is what my mom does to scare them off the porch, and that is what my brothers do when they chase after the bunnies. And when I see a bird I point and say, “bird”.
I like to try to wear other people’s shoes and walk around in them but then I get mad when they won’t stay on.
I said some new words this month I said purple, bubble, off, brr, cold, all done, and horse. I also like to play with the Duplo Lego’s and I am really good at putting them together. I also like to play with David’s shake n go raceway. I shake the cars like I am supposed to and then set them on the raceway and watch them go.

Dear Grandma and Grandpa,
On the 2nd of this month, Grandpa drove us all back to Green River. Daddy had to stay in Lincoln because he still had school. While we were driving, we saw a big cloud in front of us that looked scary. We weren’t sure which way the clouds were blowing. When we got under it, we felt like it was going to blow us off the road because the winds were so strong. A lot of cars pulled over but we kept going. We even saw two trucks that had been blown off the road and onto their sides. We were just glad it wasn’t us.
When we got back to Utah we drove to Salt Lake and I got to watch Amy take her Bridal Pictures at Thanksgiving Point. There were lots of pretty tulips around. It was also Grandpa’s birthday so we found a park and had lunch with everybody. Then the Easter Bunny came and brought me more eggs, candy, some story books, and a purse.
The next weekend I got to go to Salt Lake again. This time, I went to Amy’s Bridal showers. All of Amy’s friends thought I was very cute and told me so. After Amy’s shower, Grandpa drove us to Park City where we stayed in the Miners Inn. It was a fancy motel and I got to go swimming while I was there. I loved it and didn’t want to get out. The next day while we were driving around in the car, I threw up. I was sick from then until the day before Amy’s wedding. On Amy’s wedding day I got to see the Salt Lake Temple where I waited outside for Amy to get married. Amy bought me a pretty green dress to wear. While I waited I had fun running around and looking at all of the pretty flowers. At Amy’s reception that night, I had fun running around again and being cute. A lot of people told my Mom and Grandpa how pretty I was.
On the Monday after Amy’s wedding I rode the train with Mom, Nathan, and David back to Lincoln. It was a longer trip than usual because the train signals had problem along the way and we ran in to bad weather in Nebraska. But we finally made it back where Daddy was waiting to see us.
I had 4 more teeth come in this month so now I have 11 teeth. I now can say dog, car, bye-bye, and more.

Dear Grandma and Grandpa,
I had my 15 month checkup. I now weigh 19 lbs, 12.8 oz, and I am 29 ¾ in tall. I had to get two shots, one in each leg. I didn’t like the shots at all.
I am no longer scared to go down the stairs by myself. It snowed at the first of this month and daddy built us a hill of snow to ride our tube down. I had fun and couldn’t wait until it was my turn to go again. I had three teeth come in this month so now I have 7 teeth. I also said a few new words. I can say Grandma, Grandpa, bath, and love you.
I went to my Uncle Brandon’s missionary homecoming in La Jara this month. I had fun visiting my Grandma Kaye and Grandpa Dwight and playing with my cousins. Then my Daddy drove us to Grand Junction where my Grandma and Grandpa Luke picked us up and took us to Green River. My Dad had to stay in Grand Junction for job interviews and then he drove back to Lincoln. While in Utah, I saw the Manti Temple where I waited outside for my Uncle Jason to get married to Larissa. I got to wear a pretty pink dress that Larissa bought for me. Then, I went to Orangeville to their reception.
At the end of this month Grandma and Grandpa Luke drove us to Lincoln to visit Daddy and to take some of our stuff back to Green River so that we would have it closer to where we want to move. While Grandma and Grandpa were in Lincoln, everybody but Grandpa went to the Children’s Museum. I had fun running around the museum and playing with Nathan and David. We also had an early Easter with Daddy in Lincoln. I had fun finding all of the eggs and when I found out what was inside of them I just wanted to stop and eat them. I was happy when my Mom finally let me sit down,. She wanted to take my picture but I just wanted to eat my candy.

Dear Grandma and Grandpa,
I said Jack-Jack and Gus-Gus, up, paper, and gone this month. I can now go up and down the stairs all by myself. I either slide on my belly or scoot down on my bottom. In the middle of the month, I fell down a few of the stairs. Now, I am scared to go down them but not up. I wait at the top of the stairs and yell for my parents to come and get me. I growl when I am angry at something. I like to color and draw but I make my mom hold the paper while I draw. I also really like to wear my shoes, I won’t let my parents take them off after they put them on, not even to go to sleep.
For Valentine’s Day we had a party at playdate. I got to decorate a sugar cookie and eat it. Then, I got to eat candy that everybody brought in their valentines. It was great!

Dear Grandma and Grandpa,
For the start of 2007 I was in Green River, Utah at my Grandma and Grandpa Luke’s house. We had a party with my cousins. Then we went up to Salt Lake where my Aunt Amy’s roommate babysat me while my mom and Dad went to the temple with Grandma and Grandpa Luke, Amy, Brooks, Jeremy, Adam, Nadine, Rebecca, Justin, and Jason.
Then we drove back to Denver where we had a Martin Christmas party at my Uncle Jace’s house. Then we drove back to Lincoln. In Lincoln it finally snowed and I had fun playing in the snow with Dad, Nathan and David. Dad pulled us around on the tube. Even though it was freezing cold outside I didn’t want to go inside, until Dad made me. I got to play in the snow twice this month.
I had my 12 month checkup and I am now 28 ½ in tall and I weigh 18 lbs 9 oz. At my check up I had to have more shots, I didn’t like them. I now fold my arms when we say the prayer and one night I folded them before anybody else did when it was time to eat dinner and it reminded my Mom and Dad to say the prayer. I also watched David and Nathan play with their shake n go cars and saw that you have to shake them to make them go so I now shake them and drop them on the ground so that they will go. I also try to say thank you, octagon, car, quack, and arf. My favorite time of the day is snack time and I copy my mom and try to say snack time. I also shake my head yes and no.
I get jealous when my mom holds David or Nathan I only want her to hold me. My favorite toys are my dolls and I like to wrap blankets and clothes around me and put them on my head and walk around with them on my head. And I like to be wrapped in my blanket when I am tired. I also think that it is fun to turn the TV off and on while my family watches it.
