“Out of Africa”

Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007

As you may all know, We received our call to Kenya, Nairobi Africa Mission. We will enter the MTC on December 10th and be there for a week. We just found out that after that we will go to Salt Lake for a few days of training and then they are sending us home for Christmas. We will fly to Africa a few days after Christmas. We are so excited. We didn’t expect to be home for Thanksgiving let alone Christmas! We will be speaking in Sacrament Meeting in Green River on December 9th. Everyone is invited.

We have an email from Elder & Sister Giles (Liberty’s parents) and they told us that we will probably visit and work in most of the surrounding countries. They also invited us to go on a safari in Feb. with them. We accepted of course. They also told us we would be driving on the left side of the road in Kenya, Uganda, but on the right side in other countries. Mom’s out practicing right now. The housing is modern and we may even have a TV in our room. Email must work because they are communicating with us already. We will add info as they give it to us.
