We had an interview with the Public Affairs office for the Church today to see if we were qualified to serve as a public affairs missionary couple.  It was a nice interview and I think we passed.  They told us they were very pleased with us and our qualifications, and hoped we would consider serving (if called) for them.  I think they were more impressed with mom than me.  Anyway.  That’s the good news.   What we have to consider is that most if not all their positions for missionary couples is not available until January of 2008.  The other news is that they didn’t have any openings in all the dream places we had thought about, (New Zealand, Australia, Denmark, England, Hawaii and any other tropical island) but did have openings in Thailand, Puerto Rico, Kenya, Korea, and Brazil.  They told they had an idea where they wanted to send us, but didn’t say for sure.  We are now supposed to pray about it and call them when we send in our papers.  So everyone pray for us to make the right decision and we’ll see what happens.
